Chères Blogginoteuses, chers Blogginoteurs,

Bloggino a démarré en septembre 2007, il y a plus de deux ans maintenant. L’idée de base était de fournir un moyen simple et rapide de publier des petites notes, des idées, des photos, pour soi et ses amis ou en groupe dans les Bloggirooms. C’était dans la vague du micro-blogging naissante, qui a maintenant déferlé avec Twitter et d’autres.

Une vraie communauté d’afficionados (qui se reconnaîtront) s’est créée et a très largement utilisé le service pour le plus grand plaisir de tous.

Mais le web avance très vite, Bloggino n’a pas eu la croissance qu’on espérait et ça a un coût. Avec tristesse, nous avons donc décidé d’arrêter Bloggino le 20 février 2010 à minuit.

Cependant, pas de regrets, c’était super de monter ce projet et de vous le proposer ; il y a un temps pour tout, spécialement sur Internet, et nous travaillons déjà à d’autres projets.

Je voulais donc vous remercier toutes et tous d’avoir fait de Bloggino un endroit sympathique pour tailler une bavette, pousser une gueulante, quizzer, s’amuser, étonner, découvrir et échanger.

(English)Dear Bloggino users,Bloggino was launched back in September 2007, more than two years ago now. The very idea of Bloggino was to offer a simple service to post ideas, notes, pics and videos from everywhere, from email to mobile phone to web, to a personal mini-blog ou a shared one. All this was designed when micro-blogging was emerging, today with Twitter and others.

A truly faithful community has emerged on Bloggino for the fun and pleasure to interact with one another. But the web is growing fast, with services exploding here and there, and unfortunately Bloggino did not show the growth we had anticipated. This has a cost.

Hence, and sadly, we have then decided to shut down Bloggino as of next February 20th midnight Paris time.

However, no regrets. We had great fun designing and offering you the service. And we have other forthcoming projects.

I wanted to thank you all for joining and making Bloggino a great place to have fun, to exchange ideas, to discover, learn and get intrigued by others’ posts.
